National Infertility Week

So I saw this video on another blog. There are so many women who suffer with infertility. My heart and prayers go out to them. Most know of someone who suffers from this so we all can lift them up in prayer this week. Pray for the comfort and peace only God can provide.

I know as a mom I can get frustrated with my kids and I get a little short with them. After watching the video it reminds me how blessed I truly am. God blessed me with three healthy babies. No matter how much I have to get up in the middle of the night or change dirty diapers or deal with a sassy attitude. I am so grateful for those moments. So all you moms out there remember the God blessings running around your house and give them an extra little hug today!

that is awesome Katie.. we tried for about 4 years and had all but given up when we found out we were pregnant with Ella...it is so hard when the only thing you want just doesn't happen...despite drugs, timing.. the Lord has a plan right? anyway..thanks for sharing..

Oh man, Collin was sitting in my lap while I watched that and bawled. I kept hugging him a little tigher and tigher. (Then I realized I needed to give him some breathing room :)) Thank you for sharing!

Katie, you took newborn pics of my baby Samara last summer. I check out your blog every so often to see your cute kids and the wonderful pictures you take. Thanks so much for posting that video. I know exactly how that feels. It took us 5 years, 2 IVF attempts, $25,000, and 3 days in ICU before we received our precious gift from heaven. It was so worth it. Thanks for reminding others that children are a gift.
