"Talk Time"

This is what Ella said as I sat in the toy room watching a little HGTV. Let me set the scene up for you. About 2 minutes before "talk time" she just got into trouble for not listening to me. She cried got sad and finally agreed to be better. She cooled down and I went to watch a little TV while the boys were napping. What happened next is interesting to say the least!

She comes strutting into the toy room. "Mom it is talk time!" I just looked at her with a question mark face.
Ella: "Do you believe in Jesus?"
Me: "Yes, Ella, I do."
Ella: "He lives in your heart."
Me: "Yes"
She then hands me a little decorative iron cross that we have. I am wondering where this is headed.
Ella: "Hold this (cross) by your heart."
I do as I am told!
Ella: "God loves you and wants you to be nice to small children. Think about it."

Takes the cross and makes her exit. Leaving me there to think about it!

What is she up to?

Ohh, SNAP!

If she does this at four years of age, I pity you when the teen years roll around.

Guess you can always come back with God loves children who obey their parents. It trumps everything that little smarty Ella can throw at you. Although she's right - it does make God happy when we are kind to small children.

Love the photo.
