Dance Recital!

Last weekend was the long awaited dance recital. Ella has been wanting to get on stage and dance since the first time I took her to dance class. To say that she loved the recital would be an understatement. She had a GREAT time. All 3 1/2 hours of it!!!!

We started on Friday with the rehearsal and after she got a little taste of the stage she just couldn't wait to get back up there on Saturday. It was just so cute watching her dance. Her class did their ballet routine to "Cinderella" with their daddies. Yep, that's right the dads got to shine a little on stage themselves. Anything to make their little girls happy. That dance was probably one of the crowd favorites. Got a little teary eyed on that one. Couldn't help it. My baby girl is growing up. sniff sniff :)

Next, was the tap routine danced to "Doin That Thing You Do." So adorable. I can't tell you how much I love watching her tap. You can not watch the routine without smiling. She gets into it. Her moves are very dramatic! During rehearsal is the only time you can film the routines. Annie, Mandi and Me were setting beside each other trying to film just giggling the whole time. I wish I could put up a video. I am so glad that she enjoyed herself because I enjoyed watching her. First dance recital down probably many more in our future.

Saturday night at home after the recital. Ella "Mom, I really don't need to go to any more dance classes. I think I'll just preform on stage at the end!"

Loved that dance recital! It was so fun hearing the audience ooh and aww, gasping in surprise over how cute the father/daughter Cinderella dance was. "That Think You Do" is one of my favorite movies, and such a cute dance routine, too. Alora, Lily, and Ella looked adorable and did great.
