First Day of School!

I am just a week late in posting about the first day of school. With how I am blogging lately that isn't too bad. Anyway, here she is my baby, first born going to Kindergarten. That's right she'll be gone all day. Crazy!! I know a lot of moms are sad once their kid starts all day school. I am the horrible mom who was looking forward to it. Don't get me wrong I get a little sad to think my little baby girl is pretty much going to be away from me majority of the day most days until summer time but, I am just excited for the new stage of life for her. Watching her jump out of the car and run up to the school every morning looking shows me just how fast she is growing up. It also helps me that she is enjoying it so much.

Well, since it has been a week I can let you know that she LOVES it. And I LOVE my afternoons when the boys are asleep and the house is quiet. Two and half hours all to myself! It is amazing!

Ella has been really easy to wake up in the mornings. I don't know how much longer that will last. She is just excited to go to school everyday. She loves her sweet teacher, eating in the cafeteria, recess and even brain break. She was so funny about meeting new friends. This summer she would randomly come up to me and say "Let's practice Mom."

Ella "Hello. My name is Ella. What's yours?"

Me "Hi. My name is Stacy."

Ella "Would you like to go play?"

Me "Yes"

Ella "I am going to meet so many new friends." It was just too cute. She is also riding the bus home from school. This really is because I don't want to get the boys up from their nap. It makes it so much nicer for me. The first day of school I picked her up and she got mad because she wanted to ride the bus. From the next day on she has been riding the bus and LOVING it. I think it's one of the highlights of her day. It also probably helps that Lily has started riding home with her since Monday. The bus doesn't go to Annie's neighborhood and this way Annie doesn't have to wake Ruby up. It works out great. After the first day Lily rode I asked her how was the bus. She told me it was awesome! Good thing they like the bus now. Once they get a little older they probably won't care for it too much.

Wow that is awesome that she loves to ride the bus... My boys were looking forward to that BUT we live to close to the school so I gotta take them and pick them up. Boo! I'm glad she had a great first week:)

Your boys could be twins! They look exactly alike!
