Guess what Ella got to do?!

That's right. She played in the snow for the first time ever. I had mentioned to her about getting her snow boots on and going outside. She was all for it. She finally got to wear her boots for actual snow and just not playing around in them all day in the house! So we headed outside. Ryder stayed inside warm and sleeping! Anyway, she liked it OK. It was pretty COLD! I kept trying to get her to take a bite and she would look at me like I was crazy! It was so cold that we were only outside for about 5 minutes. It was more me who wanted to go inside than her! So maybe next time we play in the snow it will be warmer and Jason can be home to take her out!

This is basically what she did the whole time she was outside. Picked up snow and threw it. Fun, huh?

And here she is realizing her gloves aren't waterproof and they are getting quite COLD!
Have a great weekend!

Sweet pics, my kids gloves are just like that, they don't stand up to the weather. I need to get them both a nice pair, but I hate to because they would out grow them before they would get much use out of them.

Poor kid, gotta get her some waterproof gloves! We found Caden some and he was outside yesterday and today for an hour each time. I bundled him up in snow bibs, several layers and he had a blast! Why they love the snow...who knows!

She is so cute! I can't believe Emily used to wear that coat. That makes me sad she is growing up to so fast.

I can't believe you didn't try to build her a snow bunny! Those were out specialty. Maybe Mimi should get all of her grandkids waterproof gloves.....

All that work getting the boots and all the layers on, and only 5 minutes outside! Yeah, that's how I was...

Girls, waterproof gloves are not that expensive!! Look at the end of the season and spend $3 or $4 bucks on some. Especially Coop, he is a lot like Max and Max can stay out in the snow for hours on end. I actually have to make him come in, because I get worried about him. Of course Dad totally gripes at me for that.
