Ella Bella at 6

Ella turned 6 back in May and I just got around to taking her pic the other day. My eldest is 6! I feel like I might possibly always talk or tell negative stories on my little priss. She is a stubborn, sassy thing with a big personality that can well, drive me a little nutty sometimes.
Well, today it is going to be about her awesomeness! Because she is and it needs to be said. :)

Where do I start. This past year has been a big one for Ella. She started all day school with Kindergarten. I have seen her grow so much. She was loved by her teacher and her classmates. She made tons of new friends. She also got several little awards at school when a teacher caught her showing kindness. She became a big sister to a little sister. She's such a good sister. She helps me with so much. She entertains her brothers at times and keeps them occupied for hours on end. She also, will hold and talk to Mia while I rush around to get things together. She took another year of dance. She has turned into quite the performer. She loves the stage and I do believe the stage loves her. She is always asking me when I will put her on TV. She played T-ball for the first time this last Spring. She turned out to be pretty good. And so fashionable with her pink glove, pink helmet and pink bat. She has a love of drawing. Everyday at some point of the day she'll set down to color and draw pictures. I hope she takes after her Mimi and gets some artistic ability. She learned to swim last summer but has just got that much better this summer. She also started gymanstics a few months ago. She is in love. She would go everyday if I let her. Oh, she also lost her first tooth. She has been wanting to loose one for so long. Always asking me if she had one loose. To my surprise when one became loose my, not so brave girl, insisted on getting it out. After many attempts at pulling, using a string, etc. we finally got it. Her excited, one less tooth of a smile said it all. She has such a big and kind heart. Every night when we pray she always reminds me to pray for her friends and family and that Shanobi can have clean drinking water. Shanobi, is the name of the the little girl we support through Compassion. This year a terrible tornado hit my cousin, Jake's, home. They were all kept safe but lost almost everything. My little precious Ella wanted to give Rylie and Beau all of her toys because "they need them and it will make them feel so much better." She loves church. I hope she never looses this. She enjoys the kid musicals and hanging out with her friends. We have such a great group of friends with some great kids. We are blessed. She has also made the most important decision of her life. She accepted Christ as her Savior. Cannot explain how this makes me feel as a mother. Her life is forever changed for the better. There are some sweet moments were she is telling me a very important story and I can just stare into her precious little face with those bright blue eyes and that adorable cabbage patch dimple and see a glimpse of my little round face baby girl.

This is my girl. My 6 year old girl. Who brings me so much joy. Who can bust out the dance moves. Who can make me laugh like no one else. My little shopping buddy. Who once told me that "even when I get bigger, you know, become a teenager, we'll still be friends." I will hold you to that my love.
